Research focus
In my research, I am interested in the question of whether and how body odor changes in dementia patients. Methodologically, I focus on the chemical analysis of sebum samples to identify characteristic biomarkers. The aim is to use a simple and non-invasive method to detect dementia and especially Alzheimer's disease at an early stage, in order to enable those affected to take preventive therapeutic measures in good time.
