We investigate human development across the lifespan in various research projects. In this process, we regularly collaborate with other research groups at the Department of Psychology at TU Dresden as well as national and international research groups and other collaborators. Current Research Questions

The Chair of Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience studies the human development across the lifespan in various studies. In our current research projects, we investigate the following research questions:

What are long-term effects of prenatal synthetic glucocorticoid exposure on psychosocial stress reactivity and volitional control in children and adolescents?
How do psychophysiological mechanisms of socio-emotional processes develop across the lifespan?
How does spatial navigation develop across the lifespan?
Can we enhance flexible cognitive control and decision making in older adults by applying training and non-invasive brain stimulation methods?
