I am an external student from TU Chemnitz preparing my master’s thesis at Prof Stefan Kiebel’s group. I am majoring in ‘Sensors and Cognitive Psychology’ which combines the fields of psychology and physics.

For my thesis I look at how people make re-decisions in perceptual decision making.  In particular, I investigate the aspect of making a re-decision after the underlying stimulus of the initial decision has changed its category. I conducted a behavioural experiment examining the differences in reaction time between initial- and re-decision, and new interesting aspects that come along with re-decision making. In my study I also look at how different expectations of the decision maker on how often the stimulus changes its category in time influence reaction times.
