The Housing Department manages the student residences. It provides information on all topics related to living in a student residence (including virtual tours, rental conditions, the "Living with fellow students" project).
Legal Counsel provides expert legal advice on legal issues in the areas of higher education law (admissions law and examination law), civil law (tenancy law and contract law), BAföG, labor law, television and radio license fee law and anti-discrimination.
The Psychosocial Counseling Office advises students experiencing psychological difficulties and crises during all phases of their studies. Topics can be, for example: Doubts about studying, work difficulties, exam anxiety, graduation problems, lack of self-esteem, problems in the social sphere, online addiction, depressive moods.
The Social Counseling Service is the first point of contact for all questions regarding student financing. It also supports students in social and economic difficulties during the course of their studies (livelihood, life planning, studying with an impairment).
The Studentische Arbeitsvermittlung Dresden (STAV e. V.) is the place to go for students looking for jobs. Students can find short-term jobs, working student positions or paid internships via the website or in person at the office. The placement is carried out by other students who establish contact with potential employers.
Für jeden Studiengang gibt es im Rahmen des Qualitätsmanagements für Studium und Lehre jeweils eine:n Lehrende:n und eine:n Studierende:n, die zusammen als Studiengangskoordinator:innen für die Qualitätssicherung und -entwicklung des Studiengangs zuständig sind.
