University groups
In the university groups, students volunteer their time and actively shape life on the campus alongside their studies. There is a wide range of options for everyone - political and trade union university groups, as well as technical, societal, social or cultural groups. The following university groups will present themselves at the virtual info market

Hochschul-Studentenmission Deutschland Dresden
The Studentenmission Deutschland (SMD) is a Germany-wide network of Christians in schools, higher education institutions and the academic world, and we, the University SMD Dresden, are a part of it. There is a total of more than 70 university groups that belong to the SMD and work interdenominationally. We are a specialist association of Diakonie Deutschland and work on the basis of the faith of the German evangelical alliance.
We are united by the faith in Jesus Christ. We are Christian students and aim to provide a platform to discuss and engage in dialogue about our faith. Regardless of whether you are a Christian, interested in faith or have never heard of "this Jesus", we would like to get to know you and talk to you, answer your questions and share fellowship!
We regularly meet for group evenings, which take place every fortnight on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm in the Zeuner-Bau (ZEU/250) or online, and for cell groups. We also organise auditorium lectures, university days, and coffee stands. Additionally, we like to organise activities such as walking together, dinner events, Scotland Yard games and other cool events in which we can enjoy fellowship.
