The Orientation Program enables German and international prospective students to make a well-founded decision on which course to study and to successfully enter a study program at TU Dresden.

Through the support of our OSM participants, you can – also through personal contact with your scholarship holders – support young people even before they start their studies and thus enable an excellent start to their studies and later professional life..

This gives you a time advantage in the competition for sought-after skilled workers and it positions yourself as an attractive and committed employer at an early stage.

The most important key data for the scholarship award:

• You can award a scholarship for one or more students. An OSM scholarship amounts to 300 EUR per semester. The sum corresponds approximately to the semester fee of the TU Dresden for students in attendance studies.
• You can be involved in the selection process of the scholarship holders.
• The sponsorship is tax-deductible as a donation.

More reasons to get involved with the OSM:

• You strengthen your employer brand among students at an early stage.
• At our networking events, you can draw can draw the attention of your scholarship holders to your company through personal contact and, in the best case, attract excellent young talents.
• In addition to financial support, you can offer your scholarship holders non-material opportunities (e.g. internships/traineeships) and thus arouse interest in your company.
• You gain insights into research and science, and strengthen the regional network.
• We make your commitment publicly visible, for example by listing the names of all supporters with their logo on our website. In the future, there will also be a website section "voices of our supporters" with a photo and quote.
• You support talented young people who shape the future of our society and at the same time send a signal against the shortage of skilled workers.
