First Aid
Acute illnesses or accidents can occur anytime, anywhere, including during work or study at TUD. The Occupational Health Services, as well as dedicated employees and students on site, are available should you require first aid. Please assist us in making this network as closely-knit as possible.
The Occupational Health Services support the procurement of first aid materials (first aid kits, posters, etc.).
The respective departments are responsible for the inspection and regular replenishment of the first aid boxes.
- Cost: free of charge (special requests are subject to a fee)
- Language: Order forms in German, advice in German and English

Every employee at TU Dresden can receive training to become a First Aid Officer. It is important to be willing to regularly refresh and build upon the knowledge acquired during the basic training. Those interested should strive for a long-term commitment to the role in order to achieve competence through practical experience.

The Student Medical Service offers a starting point to all employees and students with an interest in first aid, medical and rescue services, as well as disaster control. It provides medical services for Faculty Students’ Councils and smaller events, as well as first aid courses. The members receive regular training at internal events.
