Tips for hygiene
Table of contents
1. Hygiene
SARS-CoV-2 is transmitted primarily via virus-containing particles (larger droplets and smaller aerosols) generated by coughing, sneezing, talking, breathing or singing. When an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks, droplets with the virus fly into the air from their nose or mouth. Thus makes limitation of contacts, safety distances and wearing mouth-nose-protection besides thorough hand-washing with soap (for 20 seconds) a very effective method of protection. Fot additional safety, hand-sanitisers and dispensers are available in the buildings and structural units. Refrain from shaking hands or hugging - alternative greetings are recommended. Please follow the sneezing and coughing etiquette - acccordingly using the crook of your arm or a handkerchief, which should then be disposed of immediately. Here, you will find a poster with the standard hygiene instructions. You are welcome to distribute this within the university.
