The current energy situation
Table of contents
The tense state of the energy markets has already resulted in a noticeable increase in electricity and heating costs for all of us. We have to assume that supply conditions will continue to worsen in the fall and winter months. In response, the federal government has adopted new regulations to safeguard the energy supply in the short term. TU Dresden wants to do its part with its own energy-saving measures. Directorate 4 – Facility Management is currently preparing the technical measures. Our top priority is to uphold the standard of teaching and research to the greatest extent possible and to ensure that on-site teaching can continue.
Each of us individually and we as a TUD community can contribute to saving energy, reduce costs and thus help us to get through the winter.
We will use our website to keep you abreast of current developments and inform you of any pending measures at TU Dresden. You can also find useful tips for saving energy, further information on energy use at TU Dresden and informational material for downloading.
