The Gender Equality Commission, headed by the Central Gender Equality Commissioner and Officer for the Protection of Women's Rights, is responsible for all gender equality and women's issues at the TU Dresden.

The Gender Equality Commission coordinates gender equality work in the departments, faculties and central scientific institutions and is committed to equality-oriented sensitisation, promotion of excellent young talents and personnel development. Comprehensive advisory and supporting tasks are performed.
