Audit „Vielfalt gestalten“
The TU Dresden already gave itself a framework concept in 2016 with its Diversity Strategy 2030. The equality concept of the TUD (2018), the action plan of the TUD for the implementation of the UN CRPD (2017) as well as the action program family-friendly university (2019) also support the development to a diversity-oriented university. Participation in the Stifterverband audit is linked to the goals of achieving greater sensitivity for the topic of diversity and the individual core dimensions of diversity across the university, increasingly understanding diversity as a cross-cutting task, and promoting change processes with regard to equal-opportunity participation in the long term and sustainably.
The audit supports and advises universities in designing structures, instruments and measures to include diverse groups of people in everyday university life. It combines elements of organizational development with collegial consultation and external support. Moderated reflections and discussions with all participants and potential stakeholders (university management, students, employees) accompany and promote the process within the university.
