Maria Reiche Mentoring Program for Female Habilitation Candidates and Postdocs at TU Dresden
The Equal Opportunity Concept of TU Dresden defines "targeted support of young scientists in scientific careers" as a main objective. At present, the proportion of women working in TU Dresden chairs amounts to 14.4%. A specific promotion of highly promising female scientists in decisive qualification phases of their careers is therefore important for TU Dresden.
The Maria Reiche Mentoring Program for Female Habilitation Candidates and Postdocs at TU Dresden was set up in 2012 in order to provide a long-term care by experienced professors in an organised setting for women who have opted for a career in science. Furthermore, the access to necessary networks is facilitated for female scientists.
Programme details:
- MENTORING - Assignment of a mentor
- QUALIFICATION | ORIENTATION | INFORMATION (regarding topics such as appointment negotiations, communication, leadership competence, scientific expertise, individual career planning)
- NETWORKING - interdisciplinary network meeting
- Reimbursement of travel and training costs
All information can be found in the flyer.
