The third cohort of the Boysen- TU Dresden Research Training Group under the direction of its Managing Director Dr. Anna Martius and its Spokesmen Prof. Antonio Hurtado and Prof. Lutz Hagen organizes the first virtual Summer School “Mobility in transition”. From the 20th to the 21st of July, 2021, renowned national and international researchers and experts will discuss challenges and consequences of the fundamental long-term mobility change.

During the events several key questions will be in the focus:
Which challenges stem from the mobility transition?
Which disruptive technologies and innovations drive the mobility transition?
Which technological and societal solutions on an international scale should be pursued to foster the mobility transition?

The Boysen-TU Dresden-Summer School aims to make the participants aware of complex socio-technical nature of transport systems and to extend their knowledge of multiple causalities of the transport transition.
