Saxon Education Server (German abbreviation: SBS)
Digital education does not happen automatically. In addition to a functioning infrastructure, it requires support and above all suggestions that are based on well-founded content. The Saxon Education Server (German abbreviation: SBS) is dedicated to this task.
The goal of the Saxon Education Server is to provide a wide variety of Internet-based services for those involved in school education and to support them in using these. In addition to requirements arising from school practice, results from university research and expert panels are to be incorporated.
The Saxon Education Server has been a joint project of Technische Universität Dresden and the Saxon State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs since 1996, and is operated on the basis of a cooperation agreement.
