Module Evaluation
Since the modularization of the study programs the modules have formed a new level of organization within the study programs. The number, scope, and design of the modules will be defined in the course of the development of the study programs and will be retained in the module descriptions.
The distribution of the course credits in the planning of the study programs is simply determined. To which extent they are realistic is to be analyzed in the module evaluation. The “studyability” of the study program is therefore a central criteria of the accreditation of programs. The question here is whether the estimated amount of work per module is suitable according to the individual living and learning situations of the students. The experiences of the students in the modularized study programs and the estimations of the student workload will be documented in order to improve and further develop the course offerings.
The module evaluations take place within the framework of the student surveys and if necessary, with additional surveys.
