The IIT Madras, Chennai, is the top Indian university for engineering. Since 2024, TUD and IITM have been connected in a transCampus committed to joint cutting-edge research on water, climate, medicine and microelectronics. One main goal is to foster start-up partnerships.

In 2023, TU Dresden opened its first Liaison Office abroad in Taipei, Taiwan. Our collaboration with Taiwanese partners, such as the National Taiwan University and TSMC, focuses on microelectronics and semiconductor technology. For example, the STIPT program offers students from all over Saxony a unique opportunity to gain qualifications in this high-tech sector.
