Academic Advisors are contacts at the faculties, providing advice on content and organization in all phases of your studies. Each degree program has its own Academic Advisor.

The Academic Affairs Office at the School of Engineering is available to answer all questions regarding examinations and courses. The Examination Offices are responsible for the administration of examined assessments. They also support students in all related issues (e.g. registration and deregistration, withdrawal, repetition, recognition, examination periods/deadlines, crediting of completed courses, appeal procedures, transcripts of records, certificate for BAföG).

The Academic Affairs Office at the School of Medicine combines all organizational and administrative tasks related to teaching as well as the students' affairs during their studies. The Examination Office is responsible for the administration of examined assessments. It also supports students in all related issues (e.g. registration and deregistration, withdrawal, repetition, recognition, examination periods/deadlines, crediting of completed courses, appeal procedures, transcripts of records, certificate for BAföG).

The Academic Affairs Office for Teacher Training/ZLSB brings together under one roof all contacts for organizational matters related to teacher training students and, with its front desk, provides a central point of contact. This includes the Examinations Office (for questions about examination administration) and the Student Information and Counseling Service (including questions related to changing subject, degree program and university in teacher training, and internship coordination).
