Research Interests
My general research interest is to understand underlying processes of ecological phenomenon through computer simulation models. Currently I am working in a research project to develop an individual-based model simulating above and below-ground fire occurrences in tropical peatland ecosystem. In my PhD research context, I am learning about anthropological factors of tropical peat-fire, in particular how household behavior and human decision-making influence land-use pattern and its vulnerability to fire.
