Double-Degree Master's Program with the North-Caucasus Federal University (NCFU), Russia
The Double-Degree Master's Programme is offered as English track of the Master's Programme in Computer Science of the Faculty of Computer Science at the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) with the North-Caucasus Federal University (NCFU), Russia , based on the Agreement of Cooperation (AOC). Scholarships / Financial allowances funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) are available for this programme.

Agreement of Cooperation (AoC)
The AoC is a cooperation agreement between the participating universities and regulates, among other things, admission, application and enrolment procedures and the course of study of the programme.
Course Structure
For all participants, the modular study programme takes place in the 1st semester at the NCFU, while the 2nd and 3rd semesters take place at the TU Dresden. In the 4th semester the final thesis is written, either at the TU Dresden or the NCFU (AoC, § 5). The exact order of courses and projects in the 2nd and 3rd semesters will be coordinated with the respective tutor at the TU Dresden. The study programme comprises basic modules with 36 credit points, advanced modules with 15 credit points, profile modules with 21 credit points, compulsory modules with 18 credit points and mast work with 30 credit points (AoC, §6).
Course Contents
The curriculum of the double master's program is the curriculum of the master's program in computer science at the TU Dresden, limited to an English-language track.

Admission Requirements at TUD corresponds to the Eignungsfeststellungsordnung of the Master's Programme in Computer Science.

Scholarships / Financial Allowances (until 2021)
The DAAD funds scholarships/financial allowances for TU Dresden students / NCFU students. TU Dresden students can apply for a grant amounting to 3800 EUR (maxium) for the stay at the NCFU. In addition, lump sums for travel and insurance can be funded.
NCFU students can apply for a financial allowance amounting to 4000 EUR for a 10-months stay at the TU Dresden. The Joint Commission which consists of members of NCFU and TU Dresden will select the eligible students.
Eligible students must sign a contract and a declaration of acceptance based on the "Förderbedingungen des DAAD".
