Information on Mechanical Science and Engineering Studies
Academic objectives
Studying at this university’s Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering ensures that students are trained to become academically prepared engineers who will have the specialist skills and knowledge to work either in the industry or start a career as a teacher or researcher.
Students are taught the necessary technical knowledge, abilities, methods and skills in mathematics, the natural and the engineering sciences. At the same time they learn to conduct scientific work on their own, to think independently and critically and to bear responsibility for their own actions.
For this purpose, the programmes offer additional subjects on environmental protection, technology assessment, engineering ethics, profitability, the efficient use of resources and energy, management and the fundamentals of business administration and ergonomics. Thus, studies provide a firm platform on which students can build and develop their careers in scientific and technical fields and also in managerial and entrepreneurial areas.
The faculty continues to offer diploma courses of studies!
