The International Office is responsible for all administrative procedures concerning the application, admission and de-registration of international students and also advises them on all administrative questions and problems, including questions concerning the status of residence. What is more, the International Office is the first point of contact and the initiator of numerous integrative and intercultural measures for both international and German students (such as the International Tutoring Programme).

For all students of TU Dresden, the International Office offers advice on opportunities for a term abroad at one of the numerous partner universities and provides information on financing options, including scholarship programmes administered by the International Office (e.g. Erasmus+, PROMOS) as well as on external funding options.

The employees of TU Dresden receive advice from the International Office on questions concerning scientific cooperations with international partners, the establishment of exchange programmes and academic exchanges, including staff mobility.

It is a part of the orientation platform for research and practice (OFP), which offers insights into current research projects and into the working world of business. The Center for Continuing Education (ZfW) of the TU Dresden is the central service facility of the TU Dresden for continuing education. In addition to continuing education events in the areas of communication, leadership, self- and project management, and diversity, the ZfW offers individual coaching as well as team coaching by external coaches. Here you can find the current offers of the Center for Continuing Education. In addition to the offers in the regular continuing education programs for employees and managers, the ZfW offers customized offers for individual structural units (subject areas, chairs, institutes, etc.) on request.

Das Zentrum für interdisziplinäres Lernen und Lehren (ZiLL) ist für Studierende und Lehrende erste Anlaufstelle für praxis- und forschungsorientiertes Lernen und Lehren an der TU Dresden.

Es bietet interdisziplinäre forschungsorientierte Lehr- und Lernformate, die sogenannten FLiK-Module an, die Studierende für den Arbeitsalltag außerhalb der Universität vorbereiten, vertiefende Einblicke in Forschung und Praxis eröffnen und interdisziplinäres Denken schulen. Darüber hinaus ist das ZiLL eine Plattform, um Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler unterschiedlicher Disziplinen miteinander in Kontakt zu bringen und neue Forschungsideen aus interdisziplinären Lehr-Lern-Projekten heraus zu generieren.

Eine weitere Zuständigkeit des ZiLL ist die Gesamtkoordination der Studienerfolgsprojekte an der TUD, die die Studierenden auf ihrem Weg zu einem erfolgreichen Studienabschluss begleiten und unterstützen.

Des Weiteren unterstützt das ZiLL bei der Erstellung von E-Learning-Angeboten und berät zu Themen des digitalen Lernens und Lehrens sowie zu entsprechenden Fördermöglichkeiten. Außerdem fördert das ZiLL die studentische Forschung an der TU Dresden. Jährlich findet z. B. die Student Research Expo statt, die vom Promovierendenrat und einer Reihe weiterer, engagierter Studierender organisiert wird.
