Have you forgotten your password for your ZIH user account?
In the case that you have forgotten your password, it is necessary that you speak with the Service Desk in person and that you establish your identity with a valid identity document (identity card, passport, student ID).
If this is not possible due to absence or illness, a person entrusted by you can take care of this for you as long as they are employed by the TU Dresden. This form must be filled out and stamped with an institute stamp. By presenting the completed form and a valid identity document of the entrusted person, this person can present himself/herself at the Service Desk. Concerning external TU branches: the completed form along with a copy of the valid identity document of the entrusted person can be sent by fax to the Service Desk.
If it is not possible for you to present yourself in person at the Service Desk and you do not wish to entrust someone to do so, you may fill out this form and send it by fax, along with a copy of your valid identity card, to the Service Desk.
For students and employees, who have been employed or matriculated after 01.06.2016 and did activate their ZIH Login via the Coupon Portal, it is possible to reactivate the coupon at the Service Desk. A new password can be chosen in the Coupon-Portal. Thus, it is not necessary to present themselves personally at the Service Desk.
