There are many online portals at TU Dresden that make everyday study life easier. But which one do you actually need for what? Here you will find the most important platforms and services for your studies - briefly explained and directly linked for quick access.
The prerequisite for using these services is your personal ZIH login, which you can activate at the start of your studies at TU Dresden using your personal coupon ID. You can find more information about the ZIH login on the Service Desk website.
Portals for organizing your studies
selma - Your study portal
Selma stands for self-management and supports students in organizing their everyday study life. The portal can be used, for example, to view personal documents and data or submit online applications. For various degree programs, the portal also offers the option of registering for or deregistering from examinations, printing out examination certificates or viewing study results. HISQIS - Examination management
Degree programs that do not yet use the selma portal use HISQIS. You can register and deregister for examinations via the HISQIS portal. You can also download and print out certificates of registered examinations and grade overviews. To the HISQIS portal
ePortal - Faculty of Medicine

Learning and courses
OPAL - Learning platform
OPAL is the TU Dresden's digital learning platform. Students can register for courses here. They can find information, scripts and teaching materials for courses and examinations. Enrolment for language courses
As part of the language training program at TU Dresden, TUDIAS offers students of all departments general and specialist language training in 17 languages. Students can register and deregister for language courses, view their results and certificates for completed courses and a complete timetable overview via OPAL. Library (SLUB)

E-mail, WLAN and IT services
Self-service portal
Students can activate their individual user account at TU Dresden (ZIH login) via the Self-Service Portal (SSP), thereby enabling access to central IT services. WLAN

Outlook Web App (e-mails)

Datashare - Cloud storage (10 GB)

Campus Saxony - Microsoft Office products

Further IT services
