Science meets partnership
The TUD is the driving force behind the DRESDEN-concept Science and Innovation Campus. It stands for short paths between science, business and society. Innovative ideas, new technologies and sustainable solutions for the challenges of our time are created here through partnership-based cooperation across institutional and subject boundaries.
The TUD is also embedded in one of the strongest research regions in Germany at the Dresden science location. In addition to internationally renowned scientific institutes, Dresden offers a dense network of stakeholders working together on topics of the future - from quantum technology to climate research. A particular highlight is Europe's leading microelectronics cluster, which has earned the state of Saxony the nickname "Silicon Saxony". Here, the TUD works closely with local industrial partners. This proximity to high-tech companies and key technological industries makes Dresden a hotspot for innovation and technology transfer.
Whether it's joint research projects, the transfer of scientific innovations into business practice, the exchange of infrastructure or dual appointments: TUD offers optimal framework conditions for cooperation at the highest level. Our partners have access to excellent know-how, highly qualified graduates and a dynamic innovation environment. Thanks to our strategic alliances, intensive knowledge and technology transfer and internationality, TUD is an attractive interface between science and practice.
Take advantage of the potential of one of Europe's leading innovation locations - we look forward to exchanging ideas with you.
