The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research Leipzig (UFZ) is one of the world’s leading environmental research centers. Kabisch is Speaker of the Section on Urban transformation at UFZ and Head of the Department for Urban and Environmental Sociology and Urban Geography and Social Sciences at Leipzig University. She has internationally recognized expertise in long-term studies in urban sociology and socio-spatial differentiation processes.
