Career fields in Business Information Systems | 23.11., 5pm
In an "All You Can Ask" roundtable discussion, graduates of Business Information Systems will talk about their personal careers, everyday working life, current fields of activity and professional experience. They will also be available to answer questions.
Speakers:
- Daniel Kaiser
... studied business information systems at the TU Dresden and is a group leader in platform operations at SachsenEnergie AG in Dresden. He is responsible for the technical management of employees in the area of responsibility. In addition, the changes resulting from the IT strategy on the IT operation are analyzed and organized. The focus here is in particular on the effects on operations and potential adaptation requirements for business processes. - Mandy Günzel
...works as Senior Manager Global IT Data Center Operations at GlobalFoundries. There she manages a team that operates the datacenter globally, where server environments are hosted. Besides running the rooms (air conditioning, electricity, fire protection, UPS etc.), her tasks also include organizing patch cycles and corresponding fab downtimes (coordination with application owners) as well as organizing backups and recovery tests. - Benjamin Schwarz
... studied business information systems at the TU Dresden. After his studies he worked as a software developer and founded ITORA 3 years ago. The company develops individually adapted information systems, especially in the field of logistics, and is also responsible for the necessary consulting during the development process.
