In the lecture series Spannweiten, distinguished and internationally renowned architects, artists, theorists, and scholars present their work, its context, and theoretical foundations.

While the Faculty of Architecture organizes the events during the summer semester, in the winter semester they are jointly hosted in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts, the Saxon Academy of Arts, and the Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau.

The series is aimed not only at students of the Faculty of Architecture at TU Dresden, but also at practicing architects and the broader public.
