BMBF-Project: open access book 'Urban Rural Interfaces'

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research funded German-Chinese project Urban Rural Assembly has completed the initial phase with a joint open access book publication. The project is now successfully entering the main phase for another four years of funding.

This first issue addresses the notion of 'interfaces', related to both the multi-disciplinary conception of the URA project and its trans-disciplinary Research and Development approaches at the urban-rural interface of Huangyan-Taizhou region, China. Prof. Wende and his team are involved with contributions on ecosystem services and with an interview with Prof. Wentao Yan from the Centre for Ecological Wisdom at Tongji University.  Projectpartners: TU Berlin, IOER Dresden/TU Dresden, Bauhaus University Weimar, Tongji University Shanghai, China and others.
