We did it—the Adobe project has been extended!
Since the 2022 winter semester, the “Adobe Creative Cloud” pilot project has been underway, enabling students in the Faculty of Architecture to purchase an affordable license for “Adobe Creative Cloud, All Apps, Pro for Higher Education Students.”
The project is being carried out in collaboration with the Support Center Digitization (SCD), the Faculty of Architecture, and us as the Student Council for Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
We’re thrilled that the project has been extended and that we’ll be able to offer you new, affordable licenses starting in November 2025.
Here is the key information about the new licenses:
Term: through September 25, 2029
November 1, 2026 – September 25, 2029
Cost: 216 EUR gross—that’s 6 € per month!
With this fixed-price license, you’ll save about 80% of what you’d otherwise pay for the student subscription!
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to sign a contract for a shorter term than specified or to receive a refund if your studies end before September 2029.
Change: It will no longer be possible to transfer the one-time license purchase to someone else.
Note: Use of the software is guaranteed during the license period from November 26, 2025, to September 25, 2029, or will end prematurely if the user is no longer enrolled. The software may only be used with valid enrollment at TUD. If this status no longer applies, the right to use the software ceases and the user’s license authorization is revoked; the user will not be notified in advance.
How does it work?
The contract must be correctly filled out, signed, and sent to us via email (fsr.architektur@tu-dresden.de; Subject: Last Name-First Name_Adobe_WiSe26 ). Please fill out the contract digitally and be sure to include your TU Dresden email address .

ATTENTION! You have until October 25, 2026, to do this during the winter semester.
Please also transfer the amount of €216 to the following account by that date:
Bank details:
Architecture Student Council at TU Dresden
IBAN: DE61 8505 0300 3120 0524 09
Subject: Last Name, First Name, AdobeCC
At the end of October, we will forward the funds and your names in a single batch to the SCD, which will then be responsible for sending you the login credentials and installation instructions.
All licenses expire on September 25, 2029. At the beginning of each semester, you’ll have the opportunity to join the subscription again. Since prices are adjusted based on the remaining term, they will vary.
Notes on using Adobe Creative Cloud:
- Product components: see the PDF attachment “Product Components”
- Generative Credits/Adobe Firefly: 1,000 credits/month for standard features (for classic AI features, e.g., text-to-image, image variation; approximately 1 credit per image as a guideline; not included: Firefly Premium features)
- Adobe Cloud Storage: 100 GB quota (the TUD platforms should be used primarily for data storage )
- Permitted data: Only data with a “normal” protection requirement
- Prohibited data: Sensitive, confidential, or personal data requiring a medium or high level of protection
- Rules for Using Adobe Cloud Storage
- The TU Dresden does not create backups for data you store in cloud storage.
- Cloud storage associated with deactivated or former user accounts (see §2 (3) of the User Agreement/Contract) is automatically deleted by TUD twice a year (in March and September). The data is then permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Adobe Stock: Access to all standard assets
