A Stage for "TRAILS": Presentation of the Lighthouse Project at the INTERREG Annual Conference

According the motto "Partnership across the border: a successful story that goes on!" the this year´s annual meeting of the cooperation program INTERREG Poland-Saxony 2014-2020 took place. In addition to the presentation of the results of the German-Polish cooperation in the border region as well as a panel discussion on the progress of the cross-border partnership, the selected, already confirmed projects of the cooperation program could be presented to the public, e.g. the Minister for Development of the Republic of Poland, as well as representatives of the Saxon Ministry of the Environment and Agriculture.

Project coordinator Dr. Peter Schmiedgen and Florian Sägebrecht from the LABORATORY OF KNOWLEDGE ARCHITECTURE at the TU Dresden clearly explained the "TRAILS idea" to the guests from business, education and politics, and how the project can contribute to the innovation needs and potential of schools as well as small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region, as well as to provide attractive education and training opportunities for their pupils and employees, which will sustainably increase the innovative capacity of the entire project region. Already during the event, local authorities as well as institutions from Germany and Poland praised the innovative approach of the project and requested cooperation possibilities outside the project region.
