SMART CITY FORUM KYIV Joerg Rainer Noennig gives Keynote at Ukrainian Expert Event

In his keynote talk "Digital City Science", Jörg Rainer Noennig, director of the TUD Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture, introduced new interactive tools and methods for urban development and design. The event with approx. 500 local participants and a number of international speakers is to support the efforts of Kyiv City Administration to become a smart capital, benefitting from latest advances in science and technology. The special focus of Noennig´s talk was on digital citizen participation and crowdsourced co-design, for which he presented new instruments developed, among others, in the lab´s H2020 Project "U_CODE Urban Collective Design Environment". - Since 2018, the TUD Knowledge Architecture Lab is supported by Dr. Olga Kyselova, an Ukrainian researcher, who builds up and supervises the labs´s cooperations and research activities with partners in the Ukraine.
