Mentoring Program
"All beginnings are difficult"- especially when starting a course of study. New people, a new environment and at the same time a lot of organizational stress - everything has to be brought under one roof. This can be a bit challenging at the beginning. Therefore it is better to have someone by your side who has already experienced the same thing and can support you in such situations.
With this idea, we, your FSR, have created the Mentoring Program, which should make the new student life easier, especially for our freshmen.
What is it all about?
In our mentoring program, 3-4 freshman students come together with one or two mentors each. Mentors are students from higher semesters (Bachelor or Master), who know exactly how difficult it can be to start their studies. They will support you in case of questions or problems and can help you to make first contacts.
But it is not only about university! Our mentors will also have some tips for you for the new beginning student life!
Anyone who wants to meet new people and get some tips and hints can join in ;). To do so, simply sign up for the mentoring program in our Opal Course under the "ESE - first semesters week" tab. If this does not work, we will be handing out lists during ESE Week in which you can sign up. If you can't participate there and the Course doesn't work, you can also join by sending us a mail to .
