Want to be part of the university policy?

One of our main tasks in the FSR is the representation of student interests in university policy. For this purpose we have seats in various committees of our field and faculty, as well as in university groups and the student council. Are you motivated and like to be a part of them? As­soziiertes Mitglied werden?

Du interessierst dich schon für die FSR Arbeit, möchtest dich aber trotzdem erst einmal orientieren? Dann sei doch ein assoziiertes Mitglied! Das ermöglicht dir, aktiv an den FSR Sachen beteiligt zu sein, ohne das Gefühl haben zu müssen, in der generellen "Pflicht" zu sein. Du schaust unabhängig als Gast bei den Sitzungen vorbei und kriegst ein Feeling, wie der Hase so läuft. Für Erstis absolut ideal! Weitere Infos? Who are we?

We represent the interests of the students of our study and thus act as an organ of student self-administration of the TU Dresden.

In principle, the FSR consists of up to 25 elected members and other associated helpers. Every year at the university elections in November, our members are elected by all students of hydro sciences.

We take care of student matters related to the study. This means that you can contact us at any time should you have questions or problems with exams, study planning or the course of studies and many other topics. We can then give you tips, find solutions together with you or share experiences.
Our task is also to be the link between students and teachers. In this way we support the mediation between both parties and always try to facilitate good communication.

Another task of the FSR is to represent the interests of all students in university politics. This includes committees of our field of study and faculty. In addition, members of our faculty are part of the StuRa.

In addition to our advisory and representative work, we organize nice and fun events for our students. This includes the annual ESE for our new freshmen. We also plan barbecue and game evenings, hikes, rubber boat tours, the water ball, the Christmas party or the HyWaTa.
