IGW doctoral student receives Best Poster Award at IAH25
Ms. Nane Weber (left) and Dr. Xinyang Fan (right) receive the "Best Poster Presentation" award
The IAH conference is organized annually by the International Association of Hydrogeologists and is one of the world's most important scientific meetings in the field of hydrogeology. Researchers from science, authorities and practice come together here to discuss current developments in groundwater research, present new methods and modeling approaches and promote international exchange.
Our doctoral student, Nane Weber, successfully participated in the IAH25 in Melbourne (Australia) this year. During the conference, she and postdoc Dr. Xinyang Fan (FAU Erlangen/Uni Bern) were awarded the Best Poster Presentation Award. Congratulations to both young researchers!
Poster contributions:
"A grid-based karst groundwater model for Europe: Integrating karstification in large-scale hydrological simulations" - M.Sc. Nane Weber
"Modelling shallow groundwater in high-elevation alpine catchments: opportunities and challenges"- Dr. Xinyang Fan
