1-Axis Hydropulser
Table of contents
Functional Description
The single-axis hydraulic pulser of the Chair of Automotive Engineering is used for the investigation of static and dynamic characteristic curves on a wide variety of vehicle components. Currently, shock absorber, engine mount and tire characteristics are determined. The measuring system receives a force response from a sinusoidal, rectangular or ramp-like path excitation.
Fields of Research
- Determination of shock absorber characteristics
- Investigation of the influence of temperature on engine bearing characteristic curves
- Influence of preconditioning cycles on hydromount characteristic curves
- Natural frequency testing of tyres
- Investigation of the temperature influence of rubber samples from tyres or bearings
