Upcoming Workshop on Digital Technologies & Grand Challenges

Digital technologies are entangled with grand challenges in multiple ways. Digitalization constitutes a grand societal challenge that calls for adequate organizational and political responses. It also bears the potential to provide novel solutions for grand challenges such as climate change, inequality, or human rights. However, digital technologies also pose novel challenges, including threats to privacy, political polarization, and monopolization. The LOST meets OMG workshop in Dresden will focus on the crossroads of digitalization and grand challenges to discuss recent insights from management scholarship as well as opportunities for future research.
