DAAD-Funded Visiting Professorship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

From September 2025 to January 2026, Professor Samanthi Dijkstra-Silva was a visiting scholar and visiting professor at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), School of Business and Economics, Department of Management and Organization. Her stay was funded by a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The focus was on the further development of research projects in the field of management and organizational research, as well as the expansion of international collaborations. Professor Dijkstra-Silva actively participated in research seminars, workshops, and professional development workshops. Of particular note was an internal workshop for editors of the renowned journals Journal of Management Studies and Organization Science. Discussions of ongoing work with international researchers provided valuable impetus for several publication projects.

The stay significantly strengthened international networking and contributed to further developing the profile of research and teaching.
