Research fields
Our research focuses mainly on the fields of empirical labor, education, health, and population economics. A special focus is on the econometric evaluation of various policy measures. The main goal is to better understand the impact of socioeconomic policies on individuals, organizations, and society in order to derive solid foundations for evidence-based policymaking.
Currently, our research focuses on two areas:
- Estimating the monetary and non-monetary effects of educational policies across the life cycle.
- Investigating the role of diverse policies in the emergence and/or balancing of early-childhood inequalities and their potential long-term consequences in adulthood.
