Special Achievements

In 2016 the BIR Chair receives the WiWi-Talents Seal for the third time. This time, Raphael Bink was included in the WiWi-Talents Program.
Raphael Bink, Andreas Roth and Moritz Dehnert win the 4th Senacor Case Challenge at the MKWI 2016 under the supervision of the BIR Chair.
In 2014 the BIR Chair receives the WiWi-Talents Seal for the second time. This time, Patrick Zschech was included in the WiWi-Talents Program.
For his special commitment to the promotion of young researchers and his support for the WiWi-Talents pPogram, in 2012 the Chair was awarded the WiWi-Talents Seal for the first time.

Michael Mohaupt has been awarded the Best Student Paper Award at the IAENG International Conference on Computer Science 2013 in Hong Kong for his conference paper "Integrated Decision Support System for Establishing a Long-term Profitable Customer Base in Cloud Computing".
Dr. Tobias von Martens has been awarded the Dr. Feldbausch-Förderpreis 2009 for his outstanding dissertation about "Kundenwertorientiertes Revenue Management im Dienstleistungsbereich".
The research of Alexander E. Müller in the field of human resource management has been sponsored by the Dr. Kaiser Award.

Patrick Zschech has been awarded the TDWI Award at the TDWI Conference 2016 in München and the Young Scientist Award at the PzM Summit 2016 in Wien for his master thesis "BI about Processes zur Geschäftsprozessanalyse in datenintensiven Prozessen".
Michael Mohaupt has been nominated for the Hochschulpreis David-Kopf 2010 with his diploma thesis on the subject "Berücksichtigung von Unsicherheiten bei der Kundenbewertung im Revenue Management durch Ansätze der Rough Set Theorie".
Joachim Franz got in the third place of Hochschulpreis David Kopf 2009 with his diploma thesis on the subject "Opinion Mining in Webblogs".
Stefan Sommer has been nominated for the Georg-Helm-Preis 2009 with his diploma thesis on the subject "Business Intelligence im E-Commerce - Eine Systematisierung für den Einsatz von analytischem CRM auf Basis des Kundenlebenszyklus in Multi-Channel-Systemen".
Anja Köppler has been nominated for the Hochschulpreis David Kopf 2008 with her diploma thesis on the subject "Der Student als Kunde – Ganzheitliche Konzeptionierung eines Student-Relationship-Management-Ansatzes im Hochschulbereich".
