Nach einer erfolgreichen Bewerbung für den Dr. Händel Preis 2022 fand am 18.05.2022 die Preisverleihung im Rahmen des Tags der Fakultät statt. Unter den glücklichen Gewinnern der Auszeichnung für die Internationalisierung der Fakultät befand sich auch Mattis Altmann von der Professur für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insb. Informationsmanagement.

Die Professur für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insb. Informationsmanagement baut derzeit unter der Leitung von Mattis Altmann eine Erasmus+ Partnerschaft auf, welche aus dem Projekt Virtual Albanian European eXchange - VALEU-X hervorgeht. Im o. g. Projekt ist bereits ein intensiver Austausch zwischen Lernenden und Dozenten erfolgt, der nun im Sinne des forschenden Lernens auch auf die wissenschaftliche Ebene gehoben werden soll und an die Fakultät getragen werden soll. Weiterhin bringt sich die Professur aktiv in das 2021 gestartete Projekt VirTUos, mit dem Teilprojekt DikoLint, ein welches ebenfalls der Standardisierung virtueller und kollaborativer Lehre dient, hier jedoch mit Fokus auf die TU Dresden.

Die Fortführung der Lehrkooperation aus VALEU-X wird auch im Rahmen der zukünftigen Projekte OER-Codex, COWEB sowie dem TU weiten Erasmus+ Antrag auf Förderung Partnerregion Western Balkans - Partner Albanien KA171 gefördert und intensiviert. Dabei steht vor allem die Internationalisierung der Lehre im Sinne von Virtual Mobility und Internationalisation at home im Fok

us, aber auch blended Learning Arrangements mit Workshops in Präsenz sollen in Zukunft wieder stattfinden.

Mit dem Preisgeld soll ein 2 bis 3-tägiger Besuch von Schlüsselpersonen zur Vertiefung der internationalen Partnerschaft in Lehre und forschendem Lehren der EPOKA Universität an die TU Dresden gefördert werden, der zwischen dem Projektende von VALEU-X und den neuen Projekten auch auf die Fakultät ausstrahlen soll. Der Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insb. Informationsmanagement vertritt die Fakultät hierbei in der Akquise neuer Partner, die für eine internationale Kooperation in der Lehre geeignet sind. Neben der EPOKA University können über die Vernetzung des Lehrstuhls im EMUNI Netzwerk weitere Partner aus dem mediterranen Raum akquiriert werden und Kontakte auch im Sinne der Fakultät und anderer Lehrstühle geknüpft werden.

Für den Besuch des Gastdozenten Dr. Esmir Demaj stehen folgende Aktivitäten im Vordergrund der Planung, die auch der nachhaltigen Gestaltung der Internationalisierung der Fakultät Wirtschaftswissenschaften und damit dem Ziel der Exzellenzinitiative Lehre dienen:

·       Fachlicher Workshop an der Fakultät zur Bekanntmachung der Partner sowie Diskussion über Learning Agreements zwischen EPOKA University und TU Dresden

·       Bekanntmachung mit Prof. Schipp zur Forcierung stärker Partnerschaft sowie Diskussion über mögliche Austauschformate zur Stärkung der Internationalen Lehre an der Fakultät in den Dimensionen Bachelor, Master und PhD

·       Besuch des Doktorandenkolloquiums Education and Technology mit Gastvortrag zur Anbahnung der internationalen Kooperation auch auf Doktorandenebene

·       Vorbereitung der Summerschool für Doktoranden, welche im KA171 Antrag geplant ist durch Kennenlernen der Strukturen des Kolloquiums sowie der Verantwortungsträger und Austausch mit diesen.

After a successful application for the Dr. Händel Prize 2022, the award ceremony took place on 18.05.2022 as part of the Faculty Day. Among the lucky winners of the award for the internationalisation of the faculty was Mattis Altmann from the Chair of Business Informatics, especially Information Management.

The Chair of Business Informatics, esp. Information Management is currently establishing an Erasmus+ partnership under the leadership of Mattis Altmann, which is the result of the Virtual Albanian European eXchange - VALEU-X project. In the above-mentioned project, an intensive exchange between learners and lecturers has already taken place, which is now to be raised to the academic level in the sense of research-based learning and is to be carried to the faculty. Furthermore, the professorship is actively involved in the VirTUos project launched in 2021, with the sub-project DikoLint, which also serves to standardise virtual and collaborative teaching, but here with a focus on the TU Dresden.

The continuation of the teaching cooperation from VALEU-X will also be promoted and intensified within the framework of the future projects OER-Codex, COWEB and the TU-wide Erasmus+ application for funding for the partner region Western Balkans - Partner Albania KA171. The main focus is on the internationalisation of teaching in the sense of virtual mobility and internationalisation at home. However, blended learning arrangements with face-to-face workshops are also to take place again in the future.

The prize money is to be used to support a 2 to 3-day visit of key persons to the TU Dresden to deepen the international partnership in teaching and research-based teaching of the EPOKA University, which should also spread to the faculty between the end of the VALEU-X project and the new projects. The Chair of Information Systems, in particular Information Management, represents the faculty in the acquisition of new partners who are suitable for international cooperation in teaching. In addition to EPOKA University, further partners from the Mediterranean region can be acquired through the Chair's networking in the EMUNI network and contacts can also be established in the interests of the Faculty and other Chairs.

For the visit of the guest lecturer Dr. Esmir Demaj, the following activities are in the foreground of the planning, which also serve to sustainably shape the internationalisation of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and thus the goal of the Excellence Initiative Teaching:

- Specialist workshop at the faculty to publicise the partners as well as discussion of learning agreements between EPOKA University and TU Dresden

- Announcement with Prof. Schipp to promote stronger partnerships and discussion of possible exchange formats to strengthen international teaching at the faculty in the Bachelor's, Master's and PhD dimensions.

- Attendance at the doctoral colloquium Education and Technology with guest lecture to initiate international cooperation at doctoral level as well

- Preparation of the Summer School for PhD students, which is planned in the KA171 proposal, by getting to know the structures of the colloquium as well as the responsible persons and exchange with them.
