TU Dresden donates prize of the REWE Team Challenge 2024 to Querformat e. V.
TU Dresden was represented at the REWE Team Challenge 2024 with 940 runners and, as in the previous year, was named the largest team at the event. As a prize, it received a REWE shopping voucher worth 940 euros, which has now been donated to Querformat e. V.
A few days ago, Vice-Rector University Culture, Professor Roswitha Böhm, together with the Directorate University Culture, Doctor Cornelia Hähne, and the University Health Management team symbolically handed over the prize in the form of a cheque to Manuela and Lutz Stein from Querformat e. V. During the subsequent exchange, Ms Böhm and the team were given an insight into the diverse activities of the association and its volunteers.
Querformat e. V. has been involved for many years, particularly in the socio-cultural field for socially and financially disadvantaged people. Contact with the association was established when TU Dresden joined forces with Prohlis stakeholders to organize the join-in festival in the Dresden district in June of this year.
The donation is intended to benefit the association and the many volunteers of Querformat e. V.
The TUD would like to take part in the REWE Team Challenge again in 2025. More information will follow shortly.
