New Publication - Benzodiazepine­diones in Org. Biomol. Chem.

We are happy and proud to present a nice and collaborative project about the synthesis and bioactivity assessment of benzodiazepinediones, now published in Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry!

After the discovery of their interference with bacterial quorum sensing (QS), the activity-directed functionalisation of homophenylalanine-derived analogues led to highly active QS modulators with favourable low toxicity. These specialised properties were then further characterised by computational methods.
