Mentoring Program

You are new in Dresden and feel like you will never find your way around the university or meet new friends? 
Don't worry, we have set up a mentoring program for you. The mentors are experienced students of higher semesters. They are happy to answer any questions regarding your studies, exams, everyday life, etc. and will make sure that you settle in well during your first weeks.

For this purpose, we have our Erstiwoche (Orientation week; ESE), which begins one week before the regular lecture period. This is exactly the time where the mentors are at your side, guide you around the campus and help you with your lecture enrollment. 

We all started studying at some point, so don't worry, you can ask your mentors anything.
And who knows - maybe you'll become really good friends?

You will be assigned to the mentoring groups on the first day of the Erstiwoche (ESE). If you are not able to participate in the ESE (e.g. because you are not yet in Dresden), please send us an email to and we will sort everything out with you individually :)
