Climate change is a reality to which quite a number of people are turning a blind eye despite numerous facts. The lecture deals with the question whether personality traits can contribute to the explanation of this situation. In addition, the lecture presents findings that point to an influence of global warming on personality traits or their behavioural expressions. In each case, approaches for interventions are discussed.
