New publication on the detrimental effects of witnessing another person’s traumatic event

A new article has been published by Sebastian Trautmann in collaboration with Philipp Kanske! The study explored the potential detrimental effects of witnessing a traumatic event, which happens to another person. Socio-cognitive and socio-affective mechanisms were investigated, which might underlie the development of psychopathological symptoms following the observation of someone else’s traumatic event.
