The outdoor study “Nature and humans in the city“ is looking for participants. Sign up until 27.08.!
For many, this is what everyday life in the city involves: noise, traffic, lots of people, little nature. Pausing and finding moments of stillness seem incompatible with a busy daily schedule. The connection to nature often gets neglected. But how can the bond with nature be reestablished even in cities? Can urban dwellers live in harmony with nature while fulfilling their own needs? These are the questions that the interdisciplinary junior research group URBNANCE at the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development focuses on. The researcher Susanne Müller is now seeking participants for a five-week study on experiences in Dresden's urban nature. The study is conducted in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Philipp Kanske and Dr. Caroline Surrey from the Faculty of Psychology at the Technischen Universität Dresden.
