Portals
The self-management portal of TU Dresden Selma is a service for applicants, students and lecturers, where a variety of functions are available: e.g. Access to personal documents and data, as well as online application. The portal can be used for registering and de-registering from examinations, printing examination certificates and viewing study results for various degree programmes.
HISQIS is a portal for registering and de-registering from examinations. In addition, the portal can be used to print out certificates for registered examinations and grade overviews. It is not accessible for all degree programmes, as some already use the selma portal.
Please contact your respective examinations office to find out which portal you can use for registering for and de-registering from examinations.
The ePortal is an access point for students of medical degree programmes, where timetables can be viewed and managed.
The online platform for academic teaching and learning OPAL is the central digital learning platform of TU Dresden. The platform provides information, scripts and teaching materials for courses and examinations, and students can enrol on their courses. OPAL not only enables eLearning that is independent from time and place, but also collaborative work in wikis, forums and groups.
Opal is a portal for enrolling in language courses at TU Dresden. Here, students can register and de-register from language courses, view their results and certificates for completed courses, and find a complete timetable overview. It is also possible to arrange language learning tandems.
Using the Registration of the Saxon State Library - Dresden State and University Library (SLUB), various services can be accessed: among other things, viewing data on borrowed items and reservations, downloaded data, and the renewal of borrowed media.
Sports activities can be booked at the University Sports Centre USZ.
The Self Service Portal of the ZIH is aimed at students and staff of TU Dresden. Using the self-service portal, applications for the provision of various services and can be drawn up and printed, and students and staff can familiarise themselves with further services.
Using the Coupon Portal, the individual user of account of TU Dresden (ZIH login) is activated and access to IT services is enabled.
Via the Outlook Web Application OWA (Emails), students can directly manage their TU Dresden email address via a web browser.
Owncloud is the cloud service of TU Dresden and offers students and staff a platform, on which to store and share data. Owncloud can be accessed using your ZIH login.
Campus Saxony is a portal for students and university members of the Free State of Saxony, whose universities are the members of the Microsoft State Treaty of Saxony. Here, they have the opportunity to download Microsoft Office products free of charge or at a small cost.
