Matriculation ceremony

The matriculation ceremony for the new students of the academic year 2025/2026 will take place on October 9, 2024. The Rector of TU Dresden, Professor Ursula M. Staudinger, cordially invites you to celebrate the start of the semester together with fellow students, professors and the university management.

Participation in the matriculation ceremony is possible as follows:

• Live on site in the Auditorium Center of TU Dresden. Experience the festivities up close in the heart of the university. Pre-registration is not required. Please note, however, that places are limited. The principle of "first come, first served" therefore applies.
• Via live stream on YouTube from 3 pm.
• Note on accessibility:
  The Matriculation Ceremony in the Audimax of the Auditorium Center is barrier-free accessible. The building is equipped with a tactile guidance system, designated wheelchair spaces are available and there is an induction loop in the lecture hall. In addition, all speeches will be transcribed in real time via a Livepad service so that you can also follow the event by reading. If you require further assistance, the team at the matriculation ceremony will be happy to help.
