Healthy sTUDy – with you, for you!
Get active, stay fit, study without barriers – we want to enable all TU Dresden students to study healthily and successfully. For this purpose, we have been developing programs and measures to promote your health since September 1, 2023 as part of the Student Health Management (SGM).
At the moment, we are setting up the working groups for the SGM, which will be dedicated to different topics. Since you know your needs best, we are looking forward to your active participation. Become part of the Student Health Management and support us in developing health-promoting measures on an individual and structural level.

Online-Series: Five Ways to Well-being
A healthy mind is just as important for our overall well-being as a healthy body. Our five interactive online seminars in german and english language help step by step to achieve a sustainable and holistic well-being. Together we look at the 3 most important pillars of health: movement, nutrition and mental health. We provide helpful knowledge input and offer a platform for the exchange of tips and tricks suitable for everyday life - for more well-being in everyday life. The series starts on November, 15 2023.

Mindfulness and relaxation
Discover the power of mindfulness and invest in your mental health! Our health programme Mindfulness offers the opportunity to take time out from the stressful everyday life at university and to strengthen your mental health.
Mindfulness is a proven method to reduce stress, improve concentration and increase overall well-being. In our courses, you will learn various techniques to consciously focus your attention on the present moment and let go of negative thoughts. Through regular practice, you can sharpen your self-awareness and find an inner calmness that helps you stay composed even in stressful situations. Our qualified trainers accompany you on your mindfulness journey and provide you with valuable tips and exercises.

Anxiety
Are you suffering from lecture and exam anxiety? Then we have the perfect online programme for you!
The programme for overcoming presentation and exam nerves from the Chair of Behavioural Psychotherapy offers you the opportunity to target your fears and strengthen your self-confidence. In online sessions, you will learn effective strategies and techniques to reduce your nervousness and perform confidently in front of an audience. You will receive tips and information to better control your thoughts and emotions and manage your anxiety. With regular training you will notice how your confidence and composure will increase and you will be able to master exams and presentations with confidence.

Physical Health
Headache prevention
In Germany, two out of three adults are affected by headaches - that's about 54 million people. Every day, 900,000 people suffer from migraine attacks, 100,000 of them cannot leave their bed because of it.
But headaches and migraines can be effectively mitigated and even prevented by preventive measures. Therefore, the TU Dresden continues to offer free access to supportive offers, including the app Kopfschmerzwissen, which is certified as a medical product.

Physical activity and sports
Grab your sports shoes and become part of our sporty community at TU Dresden. Whether you want to work out, try out new sports or just be active - with us you will find the perfect balance between studying and exercise!
Every Tuesday and Thursday, you can take part in Functional Circuit Training (Crosstraining) at Sportpark.
When does it start?
Tuesday, from 17 October from 16:30-17:25 and Thursday, from 19 October from 15:30-16:25.
