Move your horizon!
On 05.06.2024, the campus will once again be transformed into a place of exchange across disciplines - not just as a day off, but as a holiday for body and mind!
Under the motto "Move your horizons", the dies academicus, the DHSZ with its sports festival and the University Health Management with the Health Day have planned three exciting events that will inspire you and get you moving.
On 05.06.2024, the Health Day will take place for all students and employees from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the HSZ. Experience a day full of activities and information about exercise together.
Look forward to a variety of offers that will help you to promote your health and well-being. In various presentations, both on site at the HSZ and accessible virtually, you will learn interesting facts about the importance of exercise for physical, mental and social health.
In addition, we offer you the opportunity to have free health check-ups to check your current state of health and give you individual recommendations for your further exercise activities. The Physiotherapeutic Teaching Center invites you to various exercise classes, active breaks and individual screening offers.
The Market of Opportunities with many information stands will take place in the Audimax this year and also offers all kinds of interactive hands-on activities. For all bicycle enthusiasts, the Verkehrswacht also offers bicycle coding to protect your bikes from theft and increase road safety.
Use the Health Day to get information, exchange ideas and get active! The Health Day at the HSZ is an ideal platform to take the first steps towards a healthier and more active life. Look forward to a day full of exercise with a focus on your health and that of others! The program will be published at the beginning of may and registration for the respective offers will be activated from 16.05.2024 12:00 noon.
dies academicus
Experience our academic holiday by students for students and get an impression of campus life outside your degree program. Take advantage of the event-free day and see things that are otherwise hidden from you, meet people you don't normally meet and get an insight into the university's commitment, which is too often only visible in the background.
We bring together the majority of TU Dresden's university groups for you so that you can get to know them easily - we also offer a Match Maker for an initial overview, which suggests university groups that match your interests! With the Crime Campus we organize a puzzle hunt together with some student councils, so you can not only discover the campus but also get a playful insight into different disciplines while solving a criminal case. We also offer a free workshop program that caters to a wide range of interests - whether you are interested in politics, sports or the future, we try to offer something for everyone. The event is rounded off by a stage program, which offers a spotlight to student bands, various university sports groups and talented students. So what are you waiting for? Go off-campus and enjoy the unknown and celebrate the diversity of our university with us at dies academicus! You can find more information here.
DHSZ sports festival:
It's finally time again!
On Wednesday, 05.06.2024, our DHSZ Sports Festival will enter its second round! In addition to a wide range of tournaments in various game sports, this year you can put your strength and endurance to the test in our "Campus-Parcour", take the "German Sports Badge" and compete in the "Saxon University Championships over 5000 m". Traditionally, the Long Fitness Night (LaFiNa) with aerobics, yoga and dance begins at 7 p.m. for all night owls. Numerous stalls with healthy and refreshing delicacies will cater for your physical well-being. We cordially invite all students and employees of all Dresden universities and all interested parties to our DHSZ Sports Festival. Participation is free of charge.
